Bill Wilson, the author of The What Who How and Why Not model is President of Inner Harbor Partners. IHP is a consulting firm focused on improved business outcomes. Bill served as a consultant to Farmers Insurance and, using the model as the way of work, helped develop the University of Farmers as one of the leading learning organizations in the country.

Performance Improvement

Bill Wilson has been involved in supporting the performance improvement of organizations in a variety of industries for over 30 years. He is co-owner of Inner Harbor Partners for Improved Performance, Inc. in Tallahassee, Florida. He has a diverse background and brings his experiences from a number of fields into his creative approach to dealing with client challenges. Bill has been an award-winning journalist, a human resources manager, labor negotiator, senior school system administrator, elected School Board Manager, manager of a multi-media production firm and supervisor of rehab and construction projects. He is an articulate speaker, designer, and facilitator. Bill is also an inventor, holding two US patents.

Bill has also been involved in professional associations during his career including ATD (Association of Talent Development, formerly ASTD) and The International Alliance for Learning. He has presented a variety of topics to state, regional, national, and international training conferences.

Experience

As a consultant, designer, and trainer, Bill has worked with teams from a variety of companies in numerous fields. A partial list of his assignments include: Allstate Insurance, Alpha Natural Resources, The Associates, BellSouth, Bethlehem Steel, Carrier, Caterpillar, Chrysler, City of Nashville, CNA Insurance, the Coastal Corporation, Enterprise Community Partners, Farmers Insurance, Florida Department of Community Affairs, Florida Department of Transportation, Johnson & Johnson, Jubilee Housing, Prentice Hall, and St. Johns Housing Partnership.
